Lakuribhanjan
Located within the border of Lalitpur, Bhaktapur and Kavre district, Lakuribhanjan is a spectacular natural tourist destination. It is 15 kms east of Lakankhel where we can savour the panoramic views of snowcapped Himalayas, beautiful sunrise and the whole Kathmandu valley. We can also observe the unprecedented views of the International airport. The view of valley from Lakauribhanjan like the twinkling stars in the sky in the evening. So near yet so far from the noise and pollution of Kathmandu, the people of Kathmandu organizes picnic in weekends to have good times in a fresh green surroundings. For fooding and lodging facilities, there are hotels for discerning travelers who want to stay overnight. For more adventurous travelers, camping can also be organized. There is a local bus facility from Lakhankhel and gwarko, lalitpur. From here, it takes around 15 kms in eastern direction to reach Panauti and 15 kms in northern direction to reach Surya Binayak, Bhaktapur which can be organized a hiking trail from Lakuribhanjan.



Bhaktapur
With the richness of cultural, historical and religious heritages, Bhaktapur is one of the three districts in Kathmandu valley. Traditionally known as Bhadgaow, it is called "khwopa" in Newari language. Different arts and architectures, historical palaces, legendary temples, intricately designed windows, candid paintings' showcasing the mastery of newari civilization, bhaktapur is a living museum of Nepal. The ancient temples, traditional designed houses, alleys, courtyards, ponds (enar) and creatively carved stonetaps, etc are the special features of this city. We can observe the Newari lifestyle, festivals and their age-old cultural traditions. Beautiful and clean city with world heritage sites with the masterpieces from Lichhavi era till Malla era, bhaktapur is the best place to see cultural treasures. Enjoy the world famous King's curd observing Nepal's tallest pagoda style temple Nyatapola, Bhaktapur durbar square, Changu Narayan Temple, fifty five window palace, Dattaraya temple, Siddhapokhari pond etc which are the sites not to be missed. 

















Nagarkot
So near yet so far from the hustle-bustle of Kathmandu, Nagarkot is one of the best hillstation from where we can observe the panoramic views of the whole langtang range, spectacular sunrise in the Himalayas and the sunset over the valley. The 360 degree view seen from the viewpoint tower leaves every traveler a mesmerizing moment in nature with the unparallel views of the flat Kathmandu valley. Located at 2175 metres altitude from the sealevel and 32 kms north-east from Kathmandu, Nagarkot is the favourite weekend destination for capital inhabitants to enjoy and forget their daily routine in a refreshing environment and cool climate. Surrounded by pine trees, it is a cool place which becomes very windy in afternoon and evening. There are many hiking trails to and from Nagarkot for adventure lovers such as sankhu, Bajrajogini temple, dhulikhel, bhaktapur, Changu Narayan, Indrawati river, tamang village, etc.



















World's tallest statue of Lord Shiva
A 108 feet tall statue of lord Shiva which is located in Sangabhanjan of bhaktapur district, is the tallest statue of the world. With a wonderful flower garden and children park in its periphery, the statue of lord shiva is very attractive which lures many visitors from Kathmandu valley and also from various districts of Nepal. It is located 22 kms in eastern direction of Kathmandu and 5 kms west from banepa in araniko highway.    


  








Dhulikhel
Far away from the maddening crowd, dhulikhel is one of the most popular destination of Kavre district. Located 30 kms in eastern direction from Kathmandu and 5 kms from banepa, dhulikhel is the place where we can savour the beauty of nature and enjoy the cultural attractions of Newar. A fresh mountain hillstation, dhulikhel is also very popular among both internal tourists and international tourists. A clear views of snow-capped majestic mountains such as Annapurna, Machhapuche, lamjung, ganesh, langtang, gauri shanker, etc leaves every traveler a cherishing moment. From here, we can see a very long range of the Himalayas, sunrise rising in the horizon and killer views of the green hills. Whether it's picnic or corporate meetings, dhulikhel is slowing becoming popular among corporate clients and local citizens of Kathmandu. Family holidays or a quiet moment with the loved ones, dhulikhel is a place of rural retreats with Himalayan views. There are hotels ranging from top-end facilities to rockbottom prices to cater to travelers of every budget. 85 kms east from here, we can reach kodari, the border of china and namobuddha, 15 kms from here. From here, there is a hiking trail to Nagarkot which takes around 5 hours. 

















Charikot
The headquarter of Dolkha district, charikot is nestled in one of the wonderful hillstation of Nepal and the business center of dolkha. It has an ideal climate which is neither too hot nor too cold. The refreshing green hills and the towering gauri Shankar seen from here makes the atmosphere very romantic. Tourists can get facility of both lodging and fooding. From here, jiri is 56 kms in eastern direction, 19 kms in Kalinchowk and 4 kms from the religious holy temple, dolkha temple. Charikot is located 133 kms east from Kathmandu.

 Manang
Behind the Himalayas, manang district is located in gandaki zone in Himalayan region. From besi sahar to Syane, it is 27 kms by jeep safari and from Syane to talghaun, it is 5 hours of enduring walk. From talghaun, the adventure to Manang starts. The rural lifestyle of local people and its natural beauty marks the holiday of any traveler an unforgettable impression in their minds. The headquarter of Manang is chame, located at an elevation of 2900 metres from sealevel. From Kathmandu, it is 177 kms western to lamjung headquarter, besi sahar which can be travelled through local bus.

Pokhara
The second most preferred holiday destination of Nepal, Pokhara is a paradise for nature lovers. Situated 200 kms in the western direction from Kathmandu, pokhara is a very rich place for nature, culture and adventure. It is world famous among international holiday makers and also a special destination of local tourists. Serene lakes, various caves and different tourist destinations within its vicinity are its major features. Royal trek, sirubari, Ghandruk, dhampus, Poon hill, Muktinath, Jomsom, Annapurna trekking circuit, Machhapuchre trek, etc are the major special gifts of Pokhara to its travelers. Paragliding, boating, ultra light, rock climbing,etc is very popular among adventure lovers. Even more special is that Pokhara is the world's fifth best destination for paragliding. It is also rich in religious heritages. World Peace Stupa, Matepani ghumba, tal barahi, binda basini mandir, bhadrakali mandir, jame masgid and ramghat church are the famous centres for different religions.
